On CNN this morning, I watched a very sad program, hosted by Larry King.
It was about, the son of Hulk Hogan, Nick, who had an accident, while on board with another young man, John Graziano. Unfortunately, John had to be taken into hospital, where he is suffering from a brain damage, and as a result may be paralyzed for his entire life. While Nick, who is 17, has been jailed and seems to be quite traumatized by the type of cell his been put in to serve his sentence.
My interest in this story, is not about the accident itself, but the way the families have been put under such grievances, both by their spoiled kids and the fact that they are being subjected to a media frenzy . Of course, Mr&Mrs Hulk are not quite happy about that and I figured out this is the reason why he decided to go to Mr Kings' program to put things right.
Of course that too could backfire and bring them more aggressive and unwanted comments from the general public instead of sympathy. Therefore adding for pain to their already painful daily life. A world where everyday similar or worst kind of things are happy day in day out to families and nobody cares or try to bring them consolation of any sort. The question most people will be asking, could be for instance:
Why his son should be treated differently to other people in similar situation?
Aren't they lucky, their son, one day will be set free and not be, bed or wheelchair bound for his entire life?
What would they do or say, if for instance the situation is the other way around?
Whatever one might say or think about this sad event, one thing is most certain, they are suffering from the act of their beloved children. That pain is what we all feel and share no matter what kind of problems we are faced with. This is why they deserve support and sympathy from people, and perhaps , they too from this point onward, will have a different view of the way our world should be.
It makes me sad when I see people who have directly or indirectly experienced certain kind of pain or trouble, but soon after that situation is gone, they simply forget and even worst they will wish or perpetrate that on o other people.
I wish they come out of this soon but with wisdom and courage to stand for those who are suffering around the world without a VOICE. Mr Hulk is a great man and with great abilities through the very system, he is upset about. He needs the Media today more than ever, but to try to smear them is not going to help at all. Under a microscope , his son is at fault without a shadow of doubt. Destiny brought them to this point and I am afraid it has be this way, this is part of another challenge they have to go through. Certainly they will prevail and for the best; the thing they don't need is to loose hope and start displaying their anger within their surrounding, especially to the John's family members. Understanding is the key element in this sad and painful journey. Sadly most people today in our this world, life is just about that. They can never escape from it, they were born and will die in it.
Let, Mr&Mrs Hulk look around them and be grateful for what they have and for what they can achieve during and the aftermath of this event.
I wish a good recovery to John and a strong mental power to their 17 years old, Nick.
This is also a confirmation of a Qu'ranic verse, where Allah(swt) says: " ...our Children and our Material earnings will be part of a test to us..."
All the best to the Hogan and Graziano families.
Salaam(peace) be with you all.
